When was Regulatory World first launched?

Regulatory World was first lunched in March 2007 with the objective of bringing regulatory people together across geographical and functional boundaries. Although we are still young we are growing fast. We have recently enlisted a diverse group of advisors from around the world to help us continuously improve the services we offer to our users.

What makes Regulatory World special?

Regulatory World is the first networking site designed exclusively for Regulatory Affairs professionals. Being primarily web-based helps us maintain our global reach, bringing regulatory people together wherever they are based. We have a World-Wide focus for an increasingly international profession. Membership to Regulatory World and our user services are free of charge.

How can Regulatory World benefit the regulatory community as a whole?

We aim to create a space where regulatory professionals can freely share fresh ideas and experiences. We believe that using this internet-based platform to make regulatory exchanges readily available to all our members world-wide is a powerful way to encourage a participative cross-dissemination of best regulatory practices. A benefit that we trust will eventually translate itself into better drugs and better treatments for patients.

How can Regulatory World help me manage my contacts?

We all recognize the importance of professional relationships in our field, but nowadays keeping your network updated can be difficult: people change jobs or workplace, companies are bought and sold, etc. Business cards can quickly become obsolete.

However, thanks to Regulatory World's web-based nature, your network will always remain up-to-date. In fact all users have to do is update their own data when they change company / position, etc.

How can Regulatory World help me with my career in Regulatory Affairs?

If one day you decide it is time to look for a new job or position, or simply want to become an independent consultant, your personal network of regulatory colleagues will be very valuable to you.

I am a consultant. How can Regulatory World help me broaden my client base?

Being a contact of clients / potential clients greatly increases your visibility. When your colleagues need regulatory advice / support for a project their starting point is most likely to be their regulatory network.

Posting interesting articles and presentations on Regulatory World is also a great way to expande your audience and demonstrate your expertise in specific regulatory areas to potential clients. You can post presentations on Regulatory World free of charge.

What about privacy protection?

Regulatory World takes your privacy very seriously. We must stress that the information you decide to include in your public profile will be visible to other members. We recommend, therefore, that you only include information you feel comfortable sharing within the professional networking spirit of this website.

Your email address will not be visible to other Regulatory World.com users unless you accept their invitation to become a direct contact of their network, or if another user accepts your invitation to become a direct contact within your professional network.

For further information please see our Privacy Policy.

There are regulatory colleagues who I would like to add to my network, but they have changed their email. Can you help me?

Regulatory World has a people search tool that allows you to search regulatory people on the basis of their last name. For privacy reasons we cannot tell you their email address. Through us, however, you can send them an invitation to join your network. If they join your network by accepting your invitation their email address will become visible to you.
